The mission of Rocky Mountain Kids is to help both boys and girls between the ages of 12-19, in the custody of the Department of Human Services, who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.
Our vision is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment to work on healing the effects of abuse and neglect, and to help these kids turn their lives around. We also will provide the services needed to help heal the family if reunification is possible.
If returning home is not possible, then emancipation is the goal. Our staff are well trained in helping adolescents cope with emotional trauma. The average length of stay for a child is 6 months – two years.
